I have been working with local residents and volunteers to establish and grow Footprints, Cardiff North – a voluntary community network that seeks to empower ourselves and each other to live more sustainably and be a little kinder to our planet.

Footprints is a platform to share ideas and work together as a community to become part of the solution to the climate crisis we face. We are a helping hand for individuals to learn more about affordable, achievable changes we can make in our everyday lives to reduce our impact on our environment and which collectively can make a big difference. We believe that by sharing knowledge and skills and being creative and connected, we can help make Cardiff North a greener, more sustainable community. We’re stepping towards a more sustainable Cardiff North and we hope you’ll join us.

Meetings

Footprints (or Cardiff North Eco Team as we were back then!) held our first meeting with local residents in November 2020. Since then, I have been working with a core committee of volunteers to get our group up and running and into the community.
