As the civil conflict in Sudan has worsened, I have been working to support constituents and their family members who are struggling to flee from the country.
The Government is failing dependent family members of British Citizens in the country by refusing them support. On the ground, armed forces personnel and civil servants have been doing a fantastic job, but the Government has not been quick enough to act. Sadly this has split up families in the most difficult of circumstances.
I have raised this issue both in the media and the House of Commons as I continue working to reunite my constituents and their families.
