In the Cardiff North MP’s first virtual appearance in the House of Commons today, Anna questioned Michael Gove on the First Minister of Wales’ proposal for a four-nation approach to crucial COVID-19 decision making.
The First Minister’s new weekly proposal encouraged:
- Start of the week – officials meet
- Mid-week – leaders of devolved nations and ministers meet
- End of the week- Cobra meeting
Anna McMorrin said:
“It’s vital the UK Government steps up contact with Wales on the handling of the crisis. I’m disappointed Gove dodged support for this proposal which would have seen greater collaboration between devolved nations at a time of national crisis.”
